2N IP Access Control Integration to XProtect® - Use a single intuitive interface for the video and access monitoring and control!

2N offers an IP-based access solution consisting of 2N® Access Commander, edge multi-technology readers, and intercoms. The combination of video and access control improves situational awareness and the overall security of a building.

HOW CAN YOU BENEFIT FROM THE INTEGRATION?
2N has developed a plugin enabling the integration of the 2N® Access Commander control system with the XProtect® Access system. The plugin sends access events, door states, and cardholder information (e.g. card ID, PIN, License plates, mobile credential) directly to the Milestone XProtect Access. The XProtect® users can control and monitor doors directly from graphical maps in XProtect®. If an alarm occurs (door open too long, door forced open, tamper alarm), the operator is instantly notified by icon signaling. He can check the camera stream near the location and take appropriate action. The access events are linked to video recordings which makes retrieving relevant footage from the past quick and easy.

Door control - You can control door switches and command different actions like unlock, lockdown or door hold open.
Real time event logging - see all access logs like users details, photos and card IDs from 2N® Access Commander directly in Milestone.
Mulitple access credentials supported - mobile credentials, RFID, PIN, finger print and license plate.
Integration with maps – enjoy a visual representation of 2N controlled doors. You may see door state changes represented by a change in icon.
Link events from the access control system with video footage or other actions in Xprotect .
