Temperature Detection
Monitor Elevated Skin Temperatures
juli 17, 2020
Although no thermal imaging camera can detect or diagnose the coronavirus, thermal cameras are an effective tool for identifying individuals whose  skin temperatures are above normal.
Temperature scanning: a low-hanging fruit
Any object with a temperature above absolute zero will emit a detectable amount of thermal radiation. Using thermal cameras in combination with state-of-the-art video management can help detect elevated skin temperatures that may indicate the presence of a fever.
A non-invasive option
Non-contact infrared thermometers can screen or monitor an individual for elevated skin temperatures. This not only allows you to detect a potential risk, it does so in a way that doesn’t make people feel uncomfortable.

It is, however, important to emphasize that elevated skin temperature measurements are for reference purposes only and don’t reflect an exact body temperature.
