Thermals Integrate with Milestone

Dahua Technology, the Chinese video surveillance product company based in Hangzhou, has announced that all its range of new smart thermal network cameras are integrated with Milestone Systems’sXProtect Video Management Software (VMS).

All Dahua smart thermal network camera series have a sensor that makes them able to detect tiny differences in temperature, for detection accuracy and operating in complete darkness and adverse weather the makers say. The cameras offer smart detection, smart analysis, smart perception, smart tracking and smart control. The thermal network cameras which can integrate with XProtect include thermal hybrid PTZ cameras, hybrid speed domes, thermal bullet cameras and thermal domes.

Milestone is already compatible with Dahua’s range of IPC, PTZ and HCVR products as well as some networks video recorders (NVR). Dahua adds that it plans to work on being compatible with Milestone XProtect software for its future products and for deeper integration in the near future.
