JAG Vision introduces affordable distributed monitoring solution

OSLO—JAG Vision, the systems integrator unit of Norway’s JAG Defence Group, which specializes in high security system integration for the military, law enforcement and critical infrastructure installations, has developed an affordable, easy-to-deploy monitoring service which allows video captured at a remote location to be transmitted and distributed live to a network of multiple users.

The JAG system is built around a modified version of Milestone's video management software platform. "Milestone provides the 'engine,' but we built a new car around it," said Garberg. The company has also established a strategic partnership with Norwegian video content analysis firm Opax to provide analysis of captured video.
