Milestone in Security 50 Ranking Again

Milestone is once again ranked in the international "Security 50 ranking" by A&S magazine.

Milestone is once again ranked in the international "Security 50 ranking" by A&S magazine. It is the third time Milestone Systems has been ranked as one of the top security industry players. Based on 2012 company information, Milestone was number 37 in the “Security 50 ranking” compared to number 43 only one year earlier.

"2012 was another strong year for Milestone and our partners’ business and 2013 looks strong as well, featuring several new industry innovations. We introduced Milestone Husky, a series of pre-installed appliances, and the Customer Dashboard, an online service which generates recurring revenue opportunities for partners. We also launched Milestone Arcus, a multi-platform VMS solution for partners own offerings.” states Lars Thingaard, CEO and President, Milestone Systems.

A&S interviewed the industry’s top players about the trends in network video surveillance in 2014:

“To provide an easy-to-use, plug-and-play IP video solution, we see more suppliers who want to provide a ’VMS pre-installed’ appliance. Software bundled with hardware saves installers and end users time and headaches dealing with integrating different devices. Milestone Systems just released its new NVR appliances, featuring a line of ready-to-use, surveillance solutions. These provide Milestone's advanced VMS pre-installed and pre-configured on high-performance hardware -  a new family of unique performance-optimized solutions for out-of-the-box video surveillance. When designing the new Milestone appliance series, we thought big: creating a range of products to meet a wide variety of needs, with robust products that are plug-and-play yet configurable and scalable,” says Lars Nordenlund, VP of Incubation and Ventures at Milestone Systems.
