At the Milestone Partner Open Platform (MPOP) day held in Abu Dhabi on 1-3 May 2012, South African projects-based security technology solutions company Camsecure, once again won the award: ‘Best Milestone Partner’ in Africa.
Milestone Systems is currently expanding its portfolio of video management software offerings, with the aim to ultimately grow the company to twice the size of its closest competitors in the surveillance industry.
The conference and exhibition, which attracted over 200 Milestone partners from Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Jordan, Oman, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Europe, the UK and USA, featured 20 exhibitors and showcased offerings from established technology providers as well as some new products.
“The Milestone Partner Event is becoming a ‘Who’s Who’ of the industry. This year saw, amongst others, Axis, Bosch, Sony and Vivotek demonstrating their technology, using the Milestone open platform. The event enables partners to obtain a global view of megatrends, future product releases and direct access to the product developers,” said Francois Malan, Managing Director of Camsecure.
