There is a multiple choice test on the day and once delegates pass this, they will become Milestone Certified Partners and receive a discount on their future software purchases. Milestone Official Certification will be sent 2 weeks after completion of the course, by Milestone HQ in Denmark.

The course costs £445 per person. On successful completion of the exam delegates will receive a Free Milestone Professional Base Licence + 4 camera licence worth £930. This can be used for demonstration purposes or sold on for an initial Milestone project.

Gordon Smith, managing director, GVD, commented:
“Milestone Training is a big part of our continued commitment and promotion of IP technologies to the security industry. Having been distributing and selling Milestone for four years now, we’ve seen our customers really flourish once they’ve become Milestone Certified.  It’s no surprise that the companies who are doing the most IP security projects are the same companies that invest in training. We’d encourage companies to take part in the training to really grow their IP business.”
