Surveillance through Security Cameras: IP Cameras & Analog Cameras

IP Cameras: By installing an IP (internet protocol) security camera system, you take advantage of the latest in networking technology to get the highest-quality images and state-of-the-art security solutions. Many commercial security systems employ IP network cameras in order to get the best security possible. IP, or digital, cameras can connect either wirelessly or via a network cable to a central network video recorder (NVR), which controls the cameras as well as stores their recorded footage. Analog Cameras: The main reason to use an analog camera is to get a higher resolution image. Unlike IP (internet protocol) cameras, which record images in pixels that can result in blurry images users can’t enlarge, analog cameras use horizontal lines to produce a higher-quality image. Analog cameras come in a wide variety of form factors, each filling a different security niche. There is a bullet, turret, dome, PTZ, box style and night vision.
