SafeKit Redundancy: Replication & Failover Cluster - The simplest high availability cluster with real-time replication and failover without shared disk
Evidian SafeKit allows you to quickly set up a Milestone cluster with real-time file replication and automatic failover of the management services and the SQL database. The product is simple and avoids complexity of other failover clusters: no need for external storage, domain controller configuration or SQL enterprise edition. A free trial of SafeKit is offered to implement the solution in less than 1 hour.Note that SafeKit is a generic product on Windows and Linux.
You can implement with the same product real-time replication and failover of other databases and applications, full Hyper-V or KVM virtual machines, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud applications.
This platform agnostic solution is ideal for a partner with a critical application and who wants to provide a high availability option easy to deploy to many customers.

- Redundancy with automatic failover on a secondary server.
- Replicates in real-time any folder containing any type of data (database, full virtual machine...).
- Cluster with no need for shared disk, no need fo database or OS enterprise editions and no need for specific skills.
- Works with Windows for server and PC, with Linux, with physical or virtual machines.
- Possibility to replicate full Hyper-V or KVM virtual machines which can contain Milestone XProtect and other applications.
