Securing a multi-site entertainment complex
Merlin Entertainment, an international company with over 600 entertainment properties across the globe,
needed a video management system for its vast triple-attraction entertainment complex in Orlando, Florida.
The complex includes the Orlando Eye, Madame Tussaud’s Orlando and SEA LIFE Orlando.
Merlin uses Axis and Milestone at Legoland and at their SEA LIFE
facility in Michigan. It’s worked really well in both places, so that
was definitely a factor in deciding to use it again for this solution.

Controlling access to restricted areas: Merlin Entertainment uses DNA Fusion, an access control system from long-time Milestone Solution Partner, Open Options, together with the XProtect Access add-on product. The result is a complete access control solution, including door control, visitor and photo ID management. The system includes coverage of 60 doors, and access control events and data can be viewed directly in the XProtect Smart Client. |
