The current freedom after a months-long lockdown have been hard fought for and may now help the hospitality and retail sectors recover. However, ongoing hygiene measures and social distancing are still relevant to avoid renewed high incidences. This prompted us to investigate in which of Germany's ten largest cities the volume of visitors in shopping centres, cafés and restaurants is highest. The results of the analysis can be found in the following charts:
