Featuring dual 2.5GbE ports, it supports high-speed network expansion and hardware-accelerated storage features.For surveillance deployments using Milestone XProtect, the TS-1655 serves as a highly compatible external storage target via SMB or iSCSI. Its support for block-level iSCSI LUNs allows efficient video archive storage, while SMB ensures secure file-based access with high throughput. Built-in M.2 NVMe slots enable SSD caching for enhanced IOPS, critical for handling video stream bursts and concurrent playback tasks.

How it works

Following the guide, you can connect the NAS as an iSCSI storage on Windows. After mounting the drive, it can be recognized by XProtect like a local storage device.
