Vix Vizion has seamlessly integrated facial recognition technology with the Milestone Video Management System. Using a client plugin, security personnel can carry out surveillance activities.The client plugin used Imagus Facial Recognition Software. It adopted the microservices architecture by splitting the application into smaller, interconnected services such as People, Source, History, and Alert Services.
The software is easy to install and set up for license and system health monitoring using the Imagus Configuration Tool. Using the Milestone Management Client, you can set up a video source, configure alert tags, and enable facial recognition on camera.
Flexible screen layout control: One size does not fit all. Because every business is different, we’ve made it very easy to modify the layout of the screens within the Milestone Smart Client according to your preference.
Key features
- Ability to enrol, view and tag people. Enrolment using ‘live’ faces or video history playback.
- Display alarms with an enrolled face, a face seen & video of it. Playback video from 5 seconds before the detection by clicking on a face.
- Perform historical forensic searches for anyone/unknown from any image searching for multiple people who are in the same vicinity within a set period.
- Perform system configuration using Milestone management client, e.g. select cameras for face recognition or create analytic events/ tags etc.
- Add or remove mask option for cameras not to perform facial recognition on the selected regions.

Perform Historical Forensic Search with associate option. Specify Person A and B as search images, date time interval and location (i.e. cameras). The system will locate associates Person C and D.
