Open platform video management software enables smooth integrations with access control and intercom audio devices for secure ATM rooms. The solution from G4S ensures constant safety for ATM users across banking locations in Morocco.
A group of banking institutions in Morocco wanted to upgrade multiple locations with supervision 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As part of efforts to modernize ATM operations across several banking locations, and in particular the locations with Automatic Teller Machine (ATMs) rooms, it was decided to enhance coverage with new electronic security equipment and a modern video monitoring system.
G4S created an integrated security system using Milestone XProtect video management software (VMS) with XProtect Smart Wall for central display of all the location cameras in rotation. There are 320 video cameras from IDIS streaming into the central overview. In addition, 320 AXIS network Audio Bridge devices are the intercoms which work seamlessly with the access control from 2N.
ATM spaces have been redesigned to restrict general public access. Members swipe their customer cards at the intercoms, where audio sensors enable voice connection.

The main results of choosing the Milestone VMS platform include the vastly improved supervision of the ATM rooms, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to avoid unknown visitors coming inside.
The solution is based on the open platform of Milestone XProtect software, which runs on a management server and registration server in the central supervision center. From there, security staff can watch the video feeds from 960 devices installed across multiple banking sites throughout Morocco.
