Surveillance Bridge is a file system filter driver that installs in minutes and automatically starts replicating files to cloud storage.XProtect continues to record and playback to/from the local disk. Recording servers employ a minimal amount of local disk storage to achieve optimal performance and overcome any potential Internet outage.
As the local drive fills up, policies work in the background to reclaim valuable local space by replicating infrequently accessed data to cost-effective and scalable cloud storage tiers. XProtect always sees data as local so there are no changes in operations.
With Surveillance Bridge, XProtect can use private, public, or hybrid cloud storage natively with NO dedicated volume mounts for file staging, NO gateway servers, and NO complicated database management.
