i-PRO Active Guard Plug-in for XProtect - Milestone XProtect gains enhanced AI object detection capabilities thanks to i-PRO Active Guard
i-PRO Active Guard Search comprises of Edge-based AI cameras and an Active Guard server.This solution is for cameras connected to the Active Guard server and Milestone XProtect. The video stream is connected to Milestone for standard recording. Best shot images and metadata is sent to Active Guard server.
The i-PRO Active Guard Plugin for XProtect, which is developed by ORBNET SYSTEMS LTD, allows for a connection to be made to the Active Guard server from Milestone XProtect. After installation and a simple connection made in the Management client, the Active Guard Search tab will be available in the XProtect Smart Client.
When a search is requested from the XProtect Smart Client, the Active Guard Best shot thumbnail images are returned into the search preview pane. When a thumbnail is selected the corresponding video recording is shown in a preview window.
Watchlists can be created for Faces and People for notification.
Key features
- Search by people characteristics such as gender, age, and clothing color. People characteristics also can be saved for watchlist.
- Search by vehicle characteristics such as type, color and moving direction.
- Search face and register to watchlists. Face matching alarm generated on i-PRO Active Guard server can be used on Alarm manager on XProtect.
- Alarm notification (Registered face/people detection) will be available on XProtect with i-PRO Active Guard Server V1.5 or later

Required i-PRO Co., Ltd. product(s)
i-PRO Active Guard server v1.3 or later is required. When using V1.3 and V1.4, there are the following restrictions.
- Alarm notification (Registered face detection and Registered people detection) will not be received on XProtect.
- Camera registration on i-PRO Active Guard server side should be done as "Add manually" for each camera. This restriction has been removed in i-PRO Active Guard server V1.5.
