AI-Smart Transportation provides intelligent traffic monitoring with complete identification of vehicles by reading lincese plates, classifying them into categories and estimating their speed. It also allows the detection of anomalous situations, such as accidents, congestions, traffic violations.

Overview
AI-SMART TRANSPORTATION - AI-TRAFFIC, AI-ROAD3D, AI-INCIDENT, AI-LPR are the video analytics for vehicle monitoring
The solution uses the most advanced vision and artificial intelligence algorithms, combined with deep neural networks.It can be composed of one or more of the following apps:
AI-ROAD3D: allows the counting and classification of vehicles, performing for each of them the calculation of average speed and the colour evaluation; it evaluates the traffic density even in very crowded situations; the classification of vehicles is based on deep learning.
AI-INCIDENT: allows the detection of vehicles moving in the wrong direction or stopped in some forbidden areas; it detects the presence of pedestrians or congestions; the classification of vehicles and pedestrians is based on deep learning.
AI-TRAFFIC: is the bundle that includes all the functionalities supported by AI-ROAD3D and AI-INCIDENT.
AI-VIOLATION: allows the detection of red traffic light violations, i.e. vehicles that cross the stop line when the traffic light is red.
AI-LPR: allows license plate detection.
Key features
- Thanks to the integration of the apps with the XProtect VPS, the metadata on both live and recording streams can be visualized.
- The integration with XProtect VPS and Metadata Search allows performing the forensic search of different types of metadata (as vehicles and people)
- The plugins are multi-platform: they can work edge side (on specific camera models of the main brands), server side and embedded side.
- AI-LPR employs a deep neural network for license plate detection, but at the same time for character detection and recognition.
- AI-ROAD3D, AI-INCIDENT, AI-TRAFFIC and AI-VIOLATION use algorithms for the detection and classification of vehicles based on deep neural networks.
