The Pelco Connect plugin is used in conjunction with XProtect to allow users to get the most out of Pelco cameras. This plugin allows for users to configure Pelco's unique analytics and utilize forensic search to filter video results based off of a wide variety of object classifications.

Pelco Connect - Pelco Analytic Configuration and Forensic Search Plugin for XProtect
Pelco Connect enhances the experience of using Pelco cameras with Genetec and Milestone systems. Once the plug-in is installed, Milestone Xprotect VMS users will see more options of how to configure and view Pelco cameras. This plug-in allows for Pelco Smart Analytics and Advanced Analytics to be configured within the Milestone UI’s. Operators can utilize forensic search features with custom MSI object detection in order to quickly find the video clips they are looking for across a wide range of cameras in their system. Users can benefit from using non-standard or differentiating camera features in a seamless fashion within these VMS workflows.Key features
- Configuration of Pelco Video Analytics can be done within XProtect Management Client.
- Forensic search capabilities to quickly filter video results based off of object classifications (blue trucks, for example). Then, export and share.
- Create object detections zones, tripwires, counterflow zones, counter tripwires plus exclude zones.
- Support for all Pelco cameras with Smart Analytic or Advanced Analytics.

When installation is done, press close and open XProtect Management Client where you will find a new analytic tab for supported cameras.

Add new analytic, edit or remove one already added analytic.

Select the rule you like to add to the camera. Available rules depends on camera type.

Blue indicates only person detection only. Blue and orange both person and vehicle detection. Gray indicates not enabled rule. Orange indicates vehicle detection only.

Select a zone in the video image, you can add points and also remove points as needed.

Right click a point to remove it.

Exclusion zones can also be added to not detect analytic objects.
