Overview
SureStream - SureStream ensures uninterrupted situational awareness even during catastrophic all-server failures.
Live video viewing only requires a functioning camera, network, and client machine. Ideally, users should be able to access live video using components other than these three. Our XProtect plugin, SureStream, makes this possible.SureStream allows all authenticated Smart Clients to receive unicast/multicast live streams directly from cameras, bypassing recording servers and ensuring that recording and management server failures have no impact on live video.
As a result, SureStream serves as a live video underwriting mechanism in XProtect installations, providing peace of mind to security operators concerned about catastrophic surveillance loss due to server failure.
SureStream also requires no additional hardware, making it an accessible and cost-effective solution for all facilities.
