Vunetrix IoT Device & Software Fault Detection - Single-Pane-of-Glass Fault Detection Application for Security IoT Devices and Software
Vunetrix was purpose-built for physical security, to be easy to deploy and user-friendly. The SMART dashboard uses existing IT protocols from security devices along with software integrations to pull meaningful health data. This data is then consolidated within the software for health reporting, single-pane-of-glass display, and event history.Once deployed, Vunetrix immediately delivers meaningful information about the health and performance of devices, software applications, and the network. Most systems can be deployed and optimized in less than a week.
When Vunetrix is integrated with the XProtect VMS, it reports on a per-camera basis how the XProtect VMS handles the camera recording. Vunetrix will notify you if the # of days of the recorded video goes below compliance, if the frame rate decreases, when a camera disconnects, and if the camera is not recording or is not enabled or licensed. These are all states that can affect video quality and retention.

How it works

The Vunetrix Integration authenticates to the Milestone Management server, then requests camera health statistics from the Milestone Recording Server, then displays it in Vunetrix Network Monitor.

A camera in a Normal Status with no errors will report several key metrics regarding camera health in the Vunetrix dashboard.

A camera in an Error Status will report when a camera is not recording, is not licensed or falls outside of configurable performance parameters.

Vunetrix Network Monitor has the ability to send many different notification types to users that need to be informed when a device is offline or performing outside of ideal operational parameters.

When a camera sensor is in an error status, flexible notifications can be sent to the appropriate Support or Service Teams, End Users, or anyone else that is required to be notified.
