Milestone Systems has been recognized again as the global market leader for IP video surveillance software. IMS Research has published a new report that identifies Milestone as having the highest world market share in the category of software-only vendors of open platform network video management solutions.

Axis Communications, Milestone Systems and integrator RPC Consultants collected the 'Best Security Solution' award at the prestigious European Retail Solutions Awards held in London on 25th June 2008. The award recognized an innovative IP-surveillance installation at the Douglas Court Shopping Centre in Cork, Ireland.

Checkpoint Systems' Checkview product integrating Point-of-Sale with Milestone XProtect IP video was awarded the Innovative Achievement prize in the Surveillance category by the Detektor International panel of judges.

At the ASIS trade show held in Las Vegas, Security Technology & Design magazine presented the 2007 Security Innovation Award to Loyola University of Chicago. Their impressive implementation is an integrated system including Milestone Systems XProtect IP video management software, over 200 surveillance cameras, and access control with intrusion alarms using smart card technology.

At the 2007 IIPSEC show in the UK, Milestone was a finalist for the Best Software Product of the year for XProtect Enterprise version 6.0 with the XProtect Smart Client version 3.0.  The previous version 5.6 of XPE won the award the year before.

The Frost & Sullivan Award for Brand Development Strategy Leadership was presented to Milestone Systems for demonstrating the ability to best perceive consumer needs and develop marketing strategies to elevate the brand’s quality, image and overall value awareness.
