Asura Vehicle Recognition enables automatic license plate- (ALPR/ANPR) and vehicle make, model and color recognition in any new or existing traffic or parking management system. Working within the Milestone XProtect platform it is easy to install and oversee its operation.The software connects seamlessly to any IP or analogue camera (via DVR to the latter) processes the video stream, performs vehicle detection and OCR and returns results to the XProtect platform.
Asura Vehicle Recognition reads the country-specific features of license plates and recognizes both Latin and Arabic alphabets, states and number (e.g.: USA) as well as color-coded license plates. (e.g.: UAE, Qatar). The application package working with Milestone XProtect also returns the vehicle make, model and color.

- Triggering is based on motion detection with video analytics. There is no need to install loops or any other triggers.
- The system returns vehicle brand, type and color beside license plate information, delivering complete information on passing vehicles.
- Top rate LPR reading: 98%+ recognition and returning country/state/province of issuance in over 110 countries.
- Time stamp, plate number, image, country/state, make/model, vehicle color data are available for browsing in the events list.
