Overview

PoE Switches with Integrated Device Management - Our DMS Switches integrated into Milestone’s XProtect Smart Client provide time-saving features

Transition Networks offers a complete line of TAA compliant, hardened and commercial PoE+ and PoE++ switches (6/8/16/24 ports) which are uniquely integrated into the Milestone XProtect Client. The switches are embedded with our Device Management System (DMS) software that provides increased visibility (topology, floor, and map views) and improves operational expenses. Additionally, the Smart switches have Auto Power Reset, a feature that automatically reboots unresponsive PoE devices such as cameras which minimizes truck rolls.

Key features

Automatically discover and remotely configure attached IP Addressable powered devices which allows for efficient network set up and overall management
Device Management System software provides increased visibility (topology, floor, and map views), simplifies and improves operational expenses
Auto Power Reset automatically pings the device, if no response the switch toggles the PoE power on the port to automatically reset the device
Comprehensive PoE status allows users to see their total PoE budget both in use and available
Enhanced diagnostics including IP connectivity and physical layer cabling checks are available such as identification of faulty cable connections

"Transition switch management plugin for Milestone is very useful for end users and integrators. Having the ability to toggle POE on down devices to see if it brings it back up right in Milestone is a great feature. Transition Network switches are Stone Security's go to when finding great solutions for our end users and for us to be able to provided continued support well past the installation. "
