Pre-sales Engineer Denis Gordienko has been with Milestone since 2013. Before that, he worked in distribution. Based in Moscow, he covers several regions, including Russia, CIS, Poland and the Baltics.

So what does he do?

“I support in the sales process, supporting partners and our own sales people with the technical assistance they require,” Gordienko says.

“I get to work closely with all Milestone departments and I get to hear feedback about our products directly from the people who use it. I report this valuable input to whomever relevant internally and this leads to bugs being fixed, features amended and products improved.”

As a consulting engineer, Denis’ main role is to educate partners and potential customers on how to use Milestone products. Whether face to face, via webinars or at events, is constantly in touch with people looking to build a Milestone installation. With a bunch of projects in his portfolio, it is difficult to name just one that stands out as a particularly memorable one. The St. Petersburg metro is one of them. Read the case story here

“I’m a kind of tool for the sales people,” Denis says. “I help qualify the technical side of a project, posing questions that need answering for a VMS installation to meet the customer’s needs.
