Enable

Select to enable the use of email notifications, allowing you to specify further properties.

Recipient(s)

Specify the email addresses to which the system should send email notifications. To specify more than one e-mail address, separate the e-mail addresses with semicolons (example: aa@aa.aa; bb@bb.bb; cc@cc.cc).

Subject text

Enter a subject text for email notifications.

Message text

Enter a message text for email notifications. Note that camera information as well as date and time information is automatically included in email notifications.

Variables

Click a link to include a variable to the notification. The options are:

• Name of triggering event
• Camera name
• Trigger time (the time when the notification was registered)
• Error text (for example, camera failure)

Ignore similar messages for:

Specify the number of seconds to ignore sending similar notifications. This function is to ensure that you do not receive too many notifications before you have solved the relevant problem.

Use schedule profile

Select the schedule profile you want to use. By default, you can choose between Always On, Always Off or choose Add new... to set up a custom schedule.
