Enter Bing Maps key or Google Maps private key and client ID in XProtect Smart Client

If you want to use a different key, and not use the key from the Smart Client profile that you are assigned to, you can enter the key in XProtect Smart Client. If you enter a key in XProtect Smart Client, it is associated with your user account and only you will use it.

Steps:

1. In the upper-right corner of the workspace, click Settings.
2. In the Settings window, in the navigation pane, click Smart map.
3. Depending on the map service you want to use, do one of the following:
   • For Bing Maps, enter your key in the Bing Maps key field.
   • For Google Maps, enter the information you received for your Premium Plan in the Client ID for Google Maps and Private key for Google Maps fields.
