Overview

Vanderbilt Omnis integration to XProtect® - Vanderbilt Omnis is an integrated security Enterprise solution for access and intrusion.

Vanderbilt carries the legacy from Bewator and Siemens with the Omnis system. Omnis is deployed in a wide variety of locations such as Retail, Municipalities, Courthouses, Hospitals, Airports, educational facilities, commercial buildings and large infrastructure installations. Installed base is approximately 130 000 doors. The system is module based and can be deployed initially with one door and then expanded into a system handling several 1000 doors and alarm points. The integration with Milestone XProtect enables adding video and controlling the door status in Omnis where you can remotely open a door after verifying the identity of a visitor or lock down the door if a threatening situation occurs. Using the rules in Milestone XProtect could trigger a variety of events in case of forced entry like start to record video and generate an alarm with the alarm receiving central.

How it works

Live view with interactive map and the Access Control Monitor. From the map its possible to set and unset the alarm as well as open, set open and close the door.
