Verified or certified applications, hardware or services

Having a verified application, hardware or service means that you have completed the verification process. Milestone confirms that they have reviewed the verification documentation and that, on the date of this review and to the best of our knowledge, the application, hardware or service is compatible with Milestone XProtect version applied in the testing environment. Milestone does not guarantee your application, hardware or service nor its functionalities. Milestone does not verify product compatibility for installations not comparable with the testing environment.

Having a certified application, hardware or service means that it has been tested and evaluated for Milestone XProtect® video management software (VMS) integration in two areas: functionality and/or performance. Milestone will plan the testing of the product based on the partner’s information, set up the certification tests, conduct the tests and analyze test results. The results will be presented in a Certification Report, which is written jointly by the partner and Milestone. Milestone does not guarantee your application, hardware or service nor its functionalities. Milestone does not certify product compatibility for installations that are not comparable with the testing environment.

You must be a Milestone Technology Partner to get your technology offering verified and to join Milestone Marketplace. 
Milestone Verification is intended to verify the compatibility of the partner’s specific application, hardware or service. Verification is based on documentation submitted, combined with a current version of Milestone XProtect VMS.

The technical setup, configuration, testing and operations are done by the partner. The tests and operations done should be documented so that Milestone’s engineers can independently verify the overall performance and functionality of the partner’s product. The partner can document the tests and operations in the manner that the partner finds appropriate, e.g. free text, screenshots and videos. 

Some products are more suited for an online, remote review as a part of the verification. This must be agreed on with the Milestone Verification Team. Once Milestone has received all documentation, Milestone engineers will review it to see if it is possible to proceed to the actual verification step. If not, you will be contacted directly.
