Peridect+ Connector Plugin and DSP sensors placed on the fence around the object create advanced and reliable perimeter protection system. Thanks to triggered User-defined Events it is possible i.e. to trigger PTZ presets in case of alarm and visualization of the violation place on the map.

Overview

PeridectPlus Perimeter Intrusion Detection System - A plugin integrating the Peridect+ Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) with XProtect VMS.

The integration of the perimeter protection system with the VMS Milestone XProtect system gives enormous possibilities in the area of immediate alarm detection, violation of the protected zone, transmission of alarm data to the VMS system in less than 3 seconds and visualization in the superior VMS Milestone XProtect system.

Integration at the software level gives the opportunity to build any algorithms for the operation of the VMS system by, for example, controlling PTZ camera presets, displaying actions on alarm monitors, event and alarm recording of video materials in a given camera observation zone, or visualization of statuses and alarms generated by the PERIDECT+ system on the map of protected site.

The PERIDECT+ Connector plugin has been integrated with all versions of the VMS Milestone XProtect system. It works by assigning the license of a given CUP+ unit to the appropriate XProtect software license.

Configuration of connection and system structure (SafeGuarded line / loop architecture) through the XProtect Management Client configuration plugin
Visualization of alarm signals from DSP+ detectors and LIP+ modules on the map in XProtect Smart Client
Manual or automatic assignment of alarm and technical states (faults) to User-defined Events
Triggering any action (rules) i.e. changes on the alarm monitor, PTZ camera rotation etc. through User Defined Events
