LiDAR- RedScan is a stand alone product which was designed to enhance video surveillance applications. It can be connected to any Milestone platform.
It can create accurate event alarms in even the harshest of environments enabling PTZ cameras to pre - set positions to identify any threats.

Overview
LiDAR- Laser Scan - Laser Scan detector is a unique detector which utilises ‘Time of Flight’ technology.
The REDSCAN series is an award-winning laser scanner detector. It can detect a moving object's size, speed and distance from the detector and process that information with a unique built in algorithm, which results in high reliability detection with minimal false alarms. The detectors can be mounted vertically or horizontally according to the application and site conditions.The REDSCAN series features two 190 degree long range LiDARs - RLS-3060L with 30m radius, RLS-3060SH 50m radius; and two 95 degree short range LiDARs - RLS-2020I and RLS-2020S covering 20m x 20m. They have intelligent detection analysis functions and customisable detection algorithm parameters that increase their range of applications. OPTEX REDSCANs provide flexible solutions that enhance video surveillance and a wide range of security & safety applications . All REDSCANs can be installed directly on an IP security network and/or utilise relay outputs providing system redundancy .Key features
