Overview

2N® IP Intercoms and MilestoneXProtect Integration - Live audio and video streaming from 2N IP Intercoms directly to XProtect® Smart Client!

Compatibility between 2N IP intercoms and Milestone XProtect is ensured by the ONVIF protocol and RTSP streaming. Once the intercom is added to the XProtect® system, its HD camera, speaker, microphone and outputs are automatically mapped to XProtect® for further usage.

HOW CAN YOU BENEFIT FROM THE INTEGRATION?
Security operators can monitor video from the intercom together with videos from other IP cameras and control doors remotely from XProtect® system. The operator can immediately see who is standing at the door and speak with the visitor. If necessary, the operator can begin recording video, zoom in with the camera on the scene or switch between individual cameras to follow the movement of selected persons. 2N Intercoms also offer a possibility to trigger the virtual ONVIF output based on the predefined action in the intercom, such as button press, motion or noise detection, door forced open, etc.; which if activated triggers an alarm in the XProtect® Smart Client.

Monitor video from 2N IP intercoms together with other IP cameras. The operator can immediately see who is standing at the door and speak with the visitor.

Zoom in on the scene or record video in case of an alarm and access the recorded videos from the intercom.

Thanks to the ONVIF protocol, the IP intercom can be easily found on the network and selected in XProtect dashboard.
