2N has developed a 2N Plugin for the integration of the 2N access control system with XProtect® Access system by Milestone. The plugin enables viewing access events and cardholder informatiom, door control and alarm monitoring directly in XProtect®.

2N® Access Commander XProtect Integration - Use a single intuitive interface for the video and access control monitoring!
2N has developed a plugin enabling the integration of the 2N access control system with the XProtect® Access system by Milestone. The combination of video and access control improves situational awareness and overall security of a building.HOW CAN YOU BENEFIT FROM THE INTEGRATION?
2N® Access Commander, an access control software, sends all access logs like events, statuses and cardholder information such as card IDs directly to the Milestone XProtect Access. With the newest plugin version, system operators can monitor alarms and control doors directly from graphical maps in XProtect®. If any alarm occurs (door open too long, door forced open, tamper alarm), the operator is instantly notified by icon signalling. He can check the camera stream near the location and take appropriate action. The access events are linked to recordings what makes retrieving of relevant footage from the past quick and easy.
