Set up like a Control Room
By running the XProtect Matrix product on the screens of several computers hooked up to the same server, a functionality equivalent to Spot Monitors in a Control Room is easily achieved – without requiring expensive matrix hardware such as those needed by an analog system.
Whether the monitors are in your local control room or across the country, XProtect Matrix can direct video camera streams with just a click of the mouse. XProtect Matrix connects directly to the camera chosen, and can therefore achieve the same high frame rate of the cameras recording.
Control of Remote Screens
The flexibility and simplicity of the XProtect Matrix solution allows it to be used for many purposes. For example, you can control the display of cameras on computer screens even though they may be located at remote sites. In this way, a system operator can control which cameras the guards at other locations are watching.
