XProtect Analytics 2.0 Features and Overview
Plug‐in architecture: The new analytics server architecture supports plug‐in of external analytics components through "drivers". The framework supports both server‐based, library‐based (analytics software hosted within the Milestone software) and edge‐based video analytics. Currently, 4 plugins are supported:
- Agent VI Video Content Analysis
- Bosch Video Motion Detection
- Dacolian License Plate Recognition (as known from XProtect Analytics 1.5)
- Generic Video Analytics Interface
Milestone Alert Data (MAD) format: The analytics framework converts alerts from any plugged‐in third party analytics components into a common alert XML format.
Central storage of alerts: All alerts are stored in a central database in the MAD format.
Generic video analytics interface (Generic VA): The analytics framework features an easy accessible interface for integrating third party analytics modules into the framework via the MAD format.
Smart Client alert plug‐in: the generic alert plug‐in for the Milestone Smart Client enables the operator to easily overlook alerts and corresponding video. The operator can search alerts and filter alert rows.
Correlation of alerts: It is possible in the framework to correlate alerts from multiple analytics modules into one alert. This makes it possible to verify alerts using different analytics behaviors and modules.
View multiple alerts simultaneously: In the Smart Client, the operator can configure the views to show multiple alerts simultaneously.
User‐defined views: The operator can create views in the Smart Client with pre‐defined filters and search criteria.
