How to upgrade your installation

You want to upgrade your existing installation. This page explains how you obtain the newest XProtect software from Milestone.

I have a PMA (Product Maintenance Agreement) - 5 simple steps

1. Download the new software to a location accessible from the recording server. www.milestonesys.com/downloads

2. Log on to our Software Registration center and choose the product you want to upgrade. www.milestonesys.com/software+registration

3. A "Free PMA Upgrade" icon appears. Click on that to start your upgrade.

4. You will receive an e-mail with your new SLC (Software License Code) and DLKs (Device License Keys).

5. Install the new software on the recording server using the SLC and DLKs.

You have now upgraded your system.

I do not have a PMA, but I want to upgrade anyway - 1 simple step

When purchasing the new software, Milestone will currently refund 50% of the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price)

1. Contact your local Milestone Partner and tell him/her that you want to use the attractive Milestone Trade-In Offer
