Milestone Knowledge Program

The Milestone training and certification program consists of two levels (Professional and Advanced) for the core products, and the Milestone Software Development Kit (SDK). There is also the option of a special on-site training session tailored to meet specific customer needs.

Certifications are personal and valid for 2 years. As long as your company maintains at least one certified person on staff then your company will remain certified.

Professional Certification (1 day)

This one-day course provides you with a basic understanding of the IP video market and technology, as well as hands-on experience with the single-server solution Milestone XProtect™ Professional. You get:

Fundamental education in IP video and its advantages over analog systems
Inside look at the convergence of IT and security through IP video surveillance
Milestone XProtect Professional product training and necessary technical skills (network, IP video, security)

Prerequisite: None

Advanced Certification (3 day)

This three-day course qualifies you to meet the most challenging end user requirements in high-end installations. It provides you with proficiency in XProtect Enterprise, XProtect Corporate and XProtect Analytics. It includes:

Insight into Architecture and Design
Advanced features and integration
Installation, configuration, operation and administration
In-depth knowledge on system tuning, maintenance, troubleshooting and customer support

Prerequisite: Professional

Milestone SDK Training (2 day)

This two-day course for up to 5 participants teaches you how to develop a video-enabled application using the Milestone SDK.

It's ideal for people who can see the value in learning how to use the industry's premier open platform video management software to develop exciting new applications and integrations.

Prerequisites: No formal qualifications or certifications are necessary. However, participants MUST know how to develop in .NET (C#, VB.NET etc.), C++, JavaScript or another developing language that can use ActiveX components.

Special Certification

Milestone can also prepare on-site training in specific technologies or for niche markets as needed.
